We are slowly approaching 63 degrees north, but this isn't quite the furthest we will go, with Ilulissat at 69 degrees north, 360 NM from Frobisher Bay.
This is a short and easy flight at only 285 NM and the weather has improved.

The above picture is the impressive canary yellow plastic airport terminal of Iqaluit. The Iqaluit Airport, affectionately called the "yellow submarine", was built in 1990 and is located almost central between Hollywood and Europe. Its runway has seen more movie stars than any other patch of real estate in the North.
The runway is a whopping 3,000 meters and fun fact - an alternate landing point for space shuttles.
The AOPA - Islands of the Bahamas chocks are along for the Journey! Pilot pointer - always carry a set of chocks in the plane, don't assume the airports will have them!
Our trusted transportation for the Journey
While there are other hotels in Iqaluit, we have been staying at the Frobisher Inn for many years. They have a new chef and the restaurant has many options. Jeffrey kindly chose the wine for this evening and we were not disappointed!
I was hopping to see our flights to BGSF, Sondie, but we weren't listed.
We met one of AJ's family members, he nearly came with us...
Already adopted....
